West Africa Coordinator Emmanuel Osei
Mr. Osei is a young Ghanaian gentleman with strong belief in liberalism and diversity. Having obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate from Adventist Senior Secondary School Bantama, Mr. Osei proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon where he studied Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Study of Religions. He was born in Kumasi, the 3rd of 4 children and hails from Sewua Aboaso in the Ashanti Region. Mr. Osei is married to Mrs. Barbara Obi Asante.
He has since furthered his education at University of Ghana where he pursued Mphil Political Science degree with specialisation in Management of Political Party Membership.
During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Osei served in several student leadership protecting students right. He served as Coordinator of the Movement for Social Justice, Coordinator of the Progressive Youth Movement, University of Ghana Chapter, and Deputy Electoral Commissioner (Legon Hall JCR) a reason he was appointed again as the Deputy Electoral Commissioner of the Graduate Students Association of the University of Ghana (GRASAG) during his master studies.
He was later appointed as the Public Relations Officer for EXCLA Group (NGO) prior to joining the PPP.
Mr Osei is currently the National Volunteers Coordinator of the Progressive People’s Party, Ghana.
He is of the strong conviction that, we can change the world through advocacy of the liberal principles of equal opportunity, respect for human rights regardless of race, religion gender etc, tolerance, diversity, freedom of people in the pursuance of their aspirations, happiness and love for each other.
